Introduction
Sisterlocks are tiny, stylable locks that are formed using an interlocking method. Interlocking is where you use a tool to create the locks instead of using a palm roll or a two-strand twisting technique. Sisterlock technicians, or “Sister Lockticians,” make the lock from the ends to the roots, so there is very little pulling at the root or damage to the hair follicle.
Our 3 Packages
To prepare for the consultation, the client will come with freshly cleaned hair with NO product in it so the consultant can accurately assess the client’s hair. The client and consultant discusses what are sisterlocks, review the client’s hair history and current lifestyle, review the consultant’s portfolio, and install test locks.
NOTE: Sisterlock™ Installations require a deposit of $150 to schedule your locking session.
The client’s sisterlocks will be established. This takes place over 2-3 days where the consultant will complete a full head of sisterlocks. On the last day of the client’s locking session, the client will receive their Sisterlocks™ starter kit. The client will see a video demonstration of how to braid and band their sisterlocks for shampooing.
Scheduled for 3 weeks after the Locking Session, this is the first time the client’s Sisterlocks™ will be retightened. If there is any unraveling or slippage, the consultant will correct it. The consultant will recommend at what frequency the client should come back for retightenings. Other wise retightenings should be between 4-8weeks for regular maintance
